My aunt's recipe for a basic pie crust.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 C flour
1/2 C butter (or another fat such as lard)
1/2 t salt
4-5 T cold water
Mix flour and salt together, then cut in the fat until it's in small pieces.
Sprinkle the water over the flour and mix together before making a smooth ball. Roll out to roughly 1/8th inch thickness. If this is to be baked as a shell smooth it into the pan, dock the dough, and bake at 450 F for 12 minutes.
